At the moment, we have four months of work lined up ahead of us, and we're looking to hire a couple great carpenters to assist and lead our job sites. We're looking for someone with:
- 5 or more years of building experience, ideally framing and finish carpentry
- Solid set of tools
- A reliable vehicle that can haul material as needed
- Ability to lead projects, and direct and assist other less experienced workers
- Dependable, and can show up on time, and work a consistent 40 hour work week (more hours will be available)
- Self motivated, solid work ethic, and the ability to do heavy, hard, and sometimes dirty work
- A wish to develop into a fine craftsman, and a passion for building science
Here's what we can offer:
- $25-35 per hour, depending on experience
- Ability to hire as a contractor, or as a regular full time employee
- A relaxed atmosphere, with a great opportunity to learn a full range of building skills
